THE PROJECT
In summer 2025, extreme athletes and ultra trail runners Magdalena Kalus and Susann Lehmann are taking on their biggest challenge yet:
2,000 kilometers and 120,000 meters of vertical gain on the Via Alpina, running across the entire Alps from Trieste to Monaco - and that as fast as possible!
Their mission? To prove that limits exist only in our minds and that women, too, can achieve greatness in the world of extreme endurance sports. On the legendary Via Alpina, the longest long-distance hiking trail in the European Alps, they will try to cross all eight Alpine countries, covering the equivalent of an ultramarathon with 3,000 meters of elevation every single day. ABOUT US
Maggy and Susi are two friends, ultra trail runners, and adventurers with a passion for the extreme.
Based in the Bavarian Alps near Walchensee and Kochelsee, their hearts belong to the mountains, but their feet take them far beyond: Whether it's a 300 km ultra trail, multi-day stage races, or steep elevation training right outside their door - for Maggy (@youareanadventurestory) and Susi (@runskills), running is more than just a sport. It's a way of life, a calling, and a deep passion. Together, they've already raised over €25,000 for charity and continue to inspire others with their stories of resilience and adventure. Now they're about to face their greatest challenge yet and they need your support to make it happen!
